* Main idea 1: Social networking facilitates the process of building relationships over long distances.

→ People can make friends online simply by clicking on the “add friend” button and immediately start their conversations after being accepted.

→ Although this only creates “weak ties”, there is a significant extension of relationships for social networking users, which is especially beneficial to those living in remote areas.

* Main idea 2: Social networks enable users to save a considerable amount of time and money

→ Social conversations and work can be arranged on the Internet, leading to a decline in the spending on commuting.

→ Also, time saved by using online sites can be allocated for different activities to develop their soft skills, allowing them to not only have more social interactions but also move up their career ladder.

Đoạn 2: Tuy nhiên, rất khó để thay thế hoàn toàn tương tác trực tiếp và ưu điểm của nó dường như vượt trội hơn

* Main idea 1: Direct communication would enhance the ability of understanding non-verbal expressions.

→ Unlike social media, there is the observation of body language in face-to-face contact, which is another important dimension of communication and cannot be replaced by any means of media.

→ By being familiar with that, it is possible to adjust the tone of voice or language used properly to make conversations more effective.

* Main idea 2: The process of convincing others is much simplified through this form of interaction. 

→ In addition to the use of persuasive voice as on social networking sites, there would be a combination of elements to persuade partners via direct conversations, including the voice, facial expressions and eye contact.

→ Improving the skills of swaying other people to a certain viewpoint can pave the way for the ambition of becoming powerful managers.
