Gợi ý: Dạng bài OPINION ESSAY, trong đó người viết PHẢI thể hiện được quan điểm ủng hộ hoặc phản đối nhận định được đưa ra ở đề bài. Với bài này, người viết triển khai theo hướng đồng ý với quan điểm đề bài, trong đó vừa phân tích quan điểm của một số người rằng có thể tìm thấy được mục đích và sự hài lòng chỉ với cuộc sống cá nhân họ, nhưng một công việc đem lại sự hài lòng đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc đem lại ý nghĩa cho cuộc sống 

Đoạn 1: Lý do một số người cho rằng ý nghĩa của cuộc sống có thể được tìm thấy bên ngoài công việc

• They couch their argument in the importance of family-life 

--> These people are often average office workers who do not have a stirring passion for their job but simply show up for work, try to do a competent job and look forward to the day they receive monthly salary 

--> They instead direct their focus towards developing and maintaining their family and personal life --> e.g. spend time playing and teaching their offspring or pursuing their hobby

Đoạn 2: Lý do tại sao cuộc sống trở nên vô nghĩa nếu như không có sự hài lòng trong công việc

• The personal life is only half of a full life and people’s presence at their place of work is stronger than that at their home 

• They not only have to handle huge workload but also are being asked to contribute more at work --> it is not uncommon to see many parents taking night shifts in order to complete their assigned tasks or meet tight deadlines --> reduce the amount of time spent at home and with their family

--> The feeling of contentment with their work contributes more to determining the level of happiness compared to leisure pursuits or family responsibilities

• Having a monotonous job demotivates job holders --> workplace stress attributable to uneasy relationships with one’s managers or direct supervisors, limited control and influence can lead to a lack of interest and lower job performance 

• unable to find significance values and have to make a conscious effort to stay on the job --> negatively affect their mood and their relationships with other people including their family --> dissatisfaction at work can harm family life --> without happiness, life would definitely become worthless.
