Some people think that developing countries need financial help from international organizations. Others think that it is practical aid and advice that is needed.

Discuss these views and give your own opinion.

Ý 1: financial support directly alleviates economic problems -> food, healthcare and accommodation for the needy --- sự hỗ trợ tài chính trực tiếp giảm nhẹ các khó khăn về kinh tế -> cung cấp thức ăn, dịch vụ y tế và nhà ở cho người nghèo

Ý 2: financial aid assists economic development -> investment in infrastructures such as roads, ports, airports, industrial zones and so on boosts economic progress --- sự hỗ trợ tài chính hỗ trợ phát triển kinh tế -> sự đầu tư vào cơ sở hạ tầng như đường xá, cảng, sân bay, khu công nghiệp thúc đẩy sự phát triển kinh tế

• Đoạn 2: Lợi ích của các hình thức Hỗ trợ thực tế

Ý 1: hands-on support is long-term solutions to sustainable development -> technology transferring and labour force training have long-lasting effects on developing countries’ economy, shortening the gap between the first-world countries and the second-world ones --- các hình thức hỗ trợ thực tế là giải pháp lâu dài cho sự phát triển bền vững --- chuyển giao công nghệ và đào tạo lực lượng lao động có tác động lâu dài tới nền kinh tế của các quốc gia đang phát triển, rút ngắn khoảng cách giữa các quốc gia ở thế giới thứ nhất và thế giới thứ hai.

Ý 2: practical assistance and advice are indispensable for further advancement -> if citizens’ knowledge in a country as well as their scientific literacy is only at a basic level, the country is not likely to move forward no matter how much financial aid it receives. (It is not to mention that the money given may lie in the corruption hands) --- các hình thức hỗ trợ thực tế và các lời khuyên là không thể thiếu cho sự phát triển -> nếu kiến thức và trình độ khoa học của người dân một quốc gia chỉ ở mức cơ bản, quốc gia đó sẽ không thể phát triển được bất kể có bao nhiêu tiền được tài trợ.
