Ý 1: The proliferation of entertaining technology has transformed video games from simple 2D images into virtual worlds in which players hardly distinguish between themselves and the game characters. → In other words, electronic games have been designed to be over-engrossing, overwhelming other forms of entertainment and easily capturing children’s attention.

Ý 2: As computerized games growth = grow to new levels, children develop their sedentary lifestyle correspondingly. → The fact that children are familiar with long sitting erects a psychological barrier to outdoor physical activities.

Ý 1: It is scientifically proved that addiction to computerized games is highly associated with dangerous health problems. → For example, children who allocate a substantial part of their time for video games are more likely to contract cardiovascular and osteoarthritis diseases.

Ý 2: The majority of games on electronic devices are violent rather than educational. → This means excessive exposure to those game plots builds up children’s mental impairment and tendency towards anti-social behaviors, contributing to higher crime rate in the future.
